What Should I Do?

If you’re in danger NOW

  • Call 111 for the Police- or ask neighbours or friends to ring for you

  • Run outside – head for where there are other people

  • Scream for help – let the neighbours hear you

  • Take the children – with you and make sure they are also safe

  • Don’t stop – to get anything else.

If you need help right now, phone the POLICE 111 NOW or the Women’s Refuge is available 24 hours a day via their crisis phone line. They offer 24-hour access to emergency safe house shelter, community support, and advocacy services.
